Minecarts Are Too Slow | Building Better Minecart Boosters

I used this five cart minecart booster for all of a day before Notch completed the Halloween update, which I'm blaming for sort of breaking it. Prior to the update, it seemed to work like a dream, providing enough acceleration to send mine carts flying across my great network (which is getting pretty darned large these days) almost endlessly. In fact, it took a collision with a misplaced farm animal or simply leaping out of the cart at speed to stop the journey.

Destructotruck Game of Destruction Review

From the Ninja Kiwi who bought you the best tower defense game bar none, Bloons Tower Defense, comes a new, entirely different kind of game, Destructotruck. As the title suggests, it's a game about a truck that, well, destroys things in a destructive kind of fashion.

Tales of Monkey Island Review | Adventure Your Monkey, LeChuk!

Those of us who had fond memories of playing Monkey Island back in the 1980's, when computers where real computers and monkeys were real monkeys will be entranced by the multi series effort of the revamped Tales of Monkey Island. I certainly was, to the extent that I bought the entire five part series on Steam.

Mirror's Edge: Playing In The Flow

So, after wanting to play Mirror's Edge for the better part of a year, but not wanting to part with $70 for the privilege, I finally managed to score the game for $5 on Steam. Seriously. $5. Kiwi Bloons Tower Defense Free PC Game

Tower defense is a fun genre of game in which the player fortifies his valued zones against invaders by placing various forms of towers about the place. There are quite literally, yes, literally, a gazillion of these games out there, but Bloons Tower Defense is one which stands out head and shoulders amongst the crowd. Many tower defense games have you defending yourself and your holdings from soldiers, or tanks, or other machines of war. In Bloons, you must defend yourself against marauding balloons. I don't know about you, but I never liked balloons. All large and shiny and full of gas. Not to be trusted.

Audiosurf PC Game Review

Audiosurf is an interesting indie PC game with a nice premise, it takes your favorite music and uses it to generate a race track, which you then play through, going faster at high energy points in the song, and going slower in the more mellow sections all the while being showered in sparkles of bright color. I'm not saying you'd have to be soulless hollow shell of a human being not to like this game, but if you don't like this game, then you're probably not going to heaven.

Clockwords Prelude | Free Casual PC Word Game

Words are good. Words allow us to express ourselves. If we didn't have words, we would probably be stuck drawing pictures all of the time, which would make for a very image rich world, but one filled with scribbles everywhere. If you think graffiti is a problem now, just consider what life would be like if every spare inch of wall space had been scrawled on and we all had to walk around with whiteboards around our necks simply to be able to communicate anything. In emergencies, you would have to be alerted by massive flashing lights, or perhaps people would throw paint on you.
